Bhai Dooj Festival


      Bhai Dooj is celebrated after two days of Diwali. The festival is known with different-different names like Bhai-Dooj in North India, Bhai Tika in Nepal, Bhai Phota  in West Bengal, Bhai Bij, Bhau Beej, or Bhav Bij in Gujarati, Marathi and Konkani speaking region.

      According to a famous Hindu mythology, a very long ago Surya Dev, the Sun Of God was married to
beautiful princess Samjna.

      On this day, sisters invite their brothers for lunch Or dinner and prepare their favorite dishes. The significance of this festival is that brothers have to protect their Sisters and Sisters should bless their brothers. In Bihar State sisters load curses on their brothers and then they pierce their tongue as a punishment and ask for forgiveness from their brothers(Brow's). In West Bengal State, Sisters fast in the morning until the traditional ceremonies are completed and prepare Tilak(Like Tika) which is made of ghee, and sandalwood.

Holi Festival Of Color

      Holi is the great festival of colors, celebrated every year by the Hindu people in India. Holi festival falls every year in the spring season in the month of phalgun (or March). It is one of the happiest festivals of the Hindus like Diwali.

      Holi festival's celebration is starts at the last day of Phalgun Month by the Holika-Dahan in the evening and colour play in the next morning. Children wait for this festival with lots of courage, happiness and starts collecting colourful colours,  bucket, balloons, pitchakri, etc to play holi.

      Whole Day, They also collect some sticks, straws and co-dung cakes in the mid of cross road and make a big heap for the ceremony of Holika Dahan, In the Night.Women sing appropriate for Holi, songs during the Holika-Dahan. Everyone(Most Of Children) becomes in happy mood and wait for the morning of next day to play holi. Baloons Filling With the Color Water. At this day everyone forgets all Of the social distinctions and meets and welcomes with each other with lots of tasty foods and sweets.

      Mahashivaratri is Festival Of the ‘The Night of Lord Shiva’. Maha-Shivaratri falls on the moonless 14th night of the new moon in the Hindu month of Phalgun, Which is corresponds to the month of March - March in English Calendar.

      Shivaratri marks the wedding day of Lord Shiva(Mahadev) and Parvati Devi. Some believe that it was night of Lord Shiva performed the ‘Tandava’. Some of though many people go on a diet of fruits and milk & some Of do not consume even a drop of water. While married women is pray for the well being of their husbands
and unmarried women pray for a husband like Lord Shiva (Mahadev) , who is regarded as the ideal husband.

      On this Shivratri festival, devotees wake up early In the morning and take a bath with cold water, preferably in river Ganga. After wearing fresh new clothes devotees visit the nearest Lord Shiva temple to give ritual bath to the Shiva Lingum(Shiv-linga)with milk, water etc.

Deepavali is The festival of lights, Deepavali is one of the most popular and very Important festivals of India, which is celebrated with very great enjoyment and excitement all over the country. Deepavali is the grandest of all festivals. Also known as Diwali, it is celebrated to worship Goddess Laxmi Devi ji, the deity of wealth.

      Deepavali is a festival of the Hindus God 'Ram' & 'Ravan' that signifies the victory of good over evil.The festival of lights continues for five long days. The first day of the festival is called Dhanteras.

     On a new Year Day, People wear new clothes and distribute sweets among the friends and relatives.The Celebration will continues for five days. Lights, fireworks, and colors make the night of Diwali a memorable one.
